ALL SOULS’ EVENSONG: 4:00 pm.
All Souls’ Evensong will include William Harris’ “Holy is the True Light,” written for the memorial of Evelyn Ley friend of the composer and wife of fellow composer Henry Ley, “And I Saw a New Heaven,” Edward Bainton’s 1928 setting of the last four verses of the book of Revelations, canticles by Herbert Howells, and the second of his Op. 32 Psalm Preludes.
This service is offered in memory of those in our community whom we love but see no longer. St. James’ necrology of the past ten years will be read.
