ST. JAMES’ 20s AND 30s GROUP: 6 to 7:30 pm in Oak Ridge Hall. The St. James’ 20s and 30s will gather for dinner, conversation and fellowship. Our topic will be What is a Human Being?
We will examine what it means to be human in the light of the gospel.
Here is the format: Dinner 6:00 - 6:25; Teaching 6:25 - 6:45; Discussion 6:45 - 7:15; Closing Prayer 7:20 – 30.
Here are the topics: September 30 - Conscious of Ourselves; October 7 - The True Human; October 14 - AI and the Body.

MUSIC AND MOVEMENT FOR BABIES, TODDLERS, AND TWO-YEAR-OLDS: 5:30-6:00 pm. Babies, toddlers, two-year-olds, and their parents are invited to join musician Katie Hathcock in the Wise Child Gathering Area on the second floor of Gray Hall. This Wednesday-night six week series will be a rocking good time!

· SKETCHBOOKS IN THE GARDEN FOR ALL AGES: 6 to 7 pm. Bring your sketchbook and join our artist community in the garden! Our host this month is artist Ginger Williams Cook.
All ages are invited to join us for art-making, visiting, and enjoying the beauty of God’s creation all around us. Bring your sketchbook or use one of ours.

· ST. JAMES' TREBLE CHOIR REHEARSAL: 5:00 - 5:45 pm. The Treble Choir will participate regularly in Sunday Eucharist services and in special choral services throughout the year. Singers with treble voices in grades 4 and up are encouraged to join. Jonathan Trotter, St. James’ Choirmaster, will lead the choir in the Choir Room on the second floor of Gray Hall. The choir will meet weekly and our fall term will conclude in mid-December. A full schedule of rehearsals and services will be provided.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT EYC: In Scripture, deserts aren’t just dry and desolate landscapes. They’re sacred spaces—where identity is formed, where false gods are stripped away, and where the voice of the Lord breaks through the silence. This Fall, we will look at what the wilderness meant to the earliest followers of God, and why it still matters today. Together, we will slow down, wrestle with deeper questions, and discover how God still meets his people in barren places. Join us every Wednesday from 5:00-7:30 in the youth wing!
