EPISCOPAL YOUTH COMMUNITY (EYC Youth Group)
Our time together this Fall will be full of all the usual fun and shenanigans: lock-ins, game nights, cook-outs, and all sorts! Along with all of the fun, we will be focusing on how to experience our faith, not just know about it. As our youth journey into adulthood, many will face a crisis of purpose and identity (many of you may remember such a time in your own lives!). We will be following The Path, a study and book written by Robby Angle, that tells the story of a fictional character named Tal, who finds himself at this critical juncture in life, and with him, we will explore how to find our identity rooted in Christ, discover meaning and direction in life, foster authentic relationships within a community, and move beyond striving for approval and learn to trust and receive God's love. The study is often used in small group settings and includes animated films, discussions, and hands-on experiences to encourage tangible steps forward in faith. It's designed to be an interactive journey that moves faith from a concept to a lived-out reality. We meet every Wednesday from 5:00-7:00. Grab a youth tray, make your plate, and join us in the Youth Wing when you arrive!
