We are also seeking veterans to work on a special program involving other veterans with terminal illness.

The training class will start on Friday, September 20 at 5:30 pm - 8-30 pm for in-direct patient care or administrative training. For those interesed in working directly with patients the course will continue on Saturday, September 21, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Both sessions are free and open to everyone, but registration is required. It is a fast paced course, filled with speakers, food and refreshments.

There are a number of ways to serve those in need: administratively, working with special events, or through direct patient care by giving emotional or spiritual support. Areas to work and hours to give are always controlled by the volunteer. Please contact Volunteer Services at 601-898-1053 ext 258 to register or if you have any questions about hospice care.
